Before You Go
What you need to book yourself, what is covered, and what to have sorted before you fly.
Danilla, our Events Assistant, will be managing flights and accommodation for the weekend. She'll be in touch with each of you directly to arrange this — no need to book these yourself.
events.au@harcourts.netFlights to and from Melbourne are being arranged by Danilla, our Events Assistant, on behalf of each attendee. Aim to arrive by early afternoon on day one so you are settled before the welcome evening.
Melbourne Airport (MEL) is the arrival point. Danilla will be in touch with each of you directly to confirm your travel details and organise transfers.
New Zealand passport holders travel to Australia under the trans-Tasman arrangement, but you will still need a valid passport and, in most cases, an Electronic Travel Authority is not required — check your own situation before booking.
Allow extra time for international arrivals and customs on the day.
Check your passport expiry well ahead of time — many carriers require at least six months validity. Renewals can take several weeks.
Travel insurance is your own responsibility and is strongly recommended for all attendees, including domestic travellers. Cover for medical costs, cancellation and lost luggage is the sensible minimum.
Some credit cards include complimentary travel insurance when flights are booked on the card — check the terms, as conditions and exclusions vary.
Danilla is managing flights and accommodation and will reach out directly — but feel free to get in touch anytime.
